![]() ![]() ![]() I thought I would start a thread about 2nd gen Camaro owners who are running Calvert Racing Cal tracs, 9 way adjustable shocks and split mono leafsThere is alot of info on the web about pre load, shock settings and what works best but I've not seen much info for our CamarosWhat I would like to see is what you're running for pre load on the cal tracs, what hole you're using for the bars and shock settings. A bit of variation there but it suggests around 7' of travel is required. Did some research that might help others, looking at some of the main adjustable rear shocks on the market. With the current setting it does feel really good when you come out of the hole as you can feel the tires hit hard. ![]() Now not sure if its the shocks or the pre load settings for the cal tracs but I'm experiencing a bouncy sensation while drivingWould setting the shocks to a softer setting or opening up the pre load help?. I'll start.I'm right now using a nickel to set preload on the Cal tracs and the bars are in the lower mounting holes also My Calvert 9 way adjustable shocks set #6 and this is my set up for the street. ![]()
